Day 01 Arrival Delhi

Day 02 Delhi 

After breakfast visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat -Mahatma Gandhi�s Memorial. In the afternoon visit New Delhi. You will drive past President�s Palace and India Gate. Later visit the Qutub Minar.

Day 03 Delhi - Agra 

After breakfast drive to Agra. On the way, little before Agra we stop at Sikandra to see the mausoleum of great Mughal King Akbar. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later in the evening visit Taj Mahal. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 Agra - Jaipur 

After breakfast visit Agra Fort situated on the West Bank of the river Yamuna. Later drive to Jaipur. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri. It is a beautiful and deserted medieval city built by Akbar the Great in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast empire. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 05 Jaipur

After breakfast, half-day excursion trip takes you to Amber Fort. En route, make a photo stop at the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). In the afternoon visit the �Pink City� of Jaipur. You will visit City Palace, and Royal Observatory (Jantar Mantar). Dinner in a nice local restaurant with dances will be organized for the guests. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 06 Jaipur - Delhi 

After breakfast drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi transfer straight to airport / railway station for onward journey.

Qutub Minar – The Tallest Stone Monuments Architecture in New Delhi

Qutub Minar is a tall minaret in South Delhi region of Mehrauli. The place is beautifully kept. At night the Minaret becomes alive with the lights thrown on it to enhance the structure. It is a World Heritage Site. The Minar is built with red sandstone. Marble too is used in it.

72.5 m minaret has 379 steps within the structure. Previously the place was open for tourists to go up till the first floor, but today even that has been barred for the tourists. This happened after the tragedy which had wiped out all the children of a village who were out to tour Delhi and lost their lives inside the dark Minar.

Qutb-ud-din Aibak started the construction of Qutub, his son-in-law and successor to the throne, Iltutmish got it completed. Hindu and Jain temples were ravaged for getting material for this place. Inscriptions on many stones in the Qutub compound give truth to the statement.

The complex has an Iron Pillar of Asoka installed in the courtyard. The Iron has not rusted till date. Delhi got its name from this Pillar which is slightly unhinged at the base and therefore called Dhilla. Dhilla became Delhi at some stage.

Brackets and honey comb design has been used for the balconies of this Minar. Qunwwat-ul-Masque is northeast to the minar.

Qutub is a pride of the great Sultanate dynasty.

There is a madrassa just before one goes down the stairs to reach the Iron Pillar.

A broken storey of the Minar is also seen in the lawns of Qutab.

From Qutab one can go to Yog Maya Temple, Bhool Bhulaiyan, a famous dargah, Jain Bari Temple, Chhatarpur Mandir dedicated to katyayani Devi and many other small monuments of historical interest in the Qutub area.

Lotus Temple of Delhi is a house of worship built in and expressionist style in New Delhi area. It was thrown open for the general public in 1986. The grand structure of white marble is made in the shape of enclosed Lotus Petals. Petal lakes provide relief from the blistering heat of Delhi.
