Lotus Temple of Delhi is a house of worship built in and expressionist style in New Delhi area. It was thrown open for the general public in 1986. The grand structure of white marble is made in the shape of enclosed Lotus Petals. Petal lakes provide relief from the blistering heat of Delhi.
The Bahai House is a nine sided building. It is a temple with a difference as there are no idols or places for regular pooja ceremonies related to different religions. It is more of a meditation hall.
Fariborz Sahba designed and constructed the unique place. Funds were provided by one Ardishir Rustampur from Hyderabad.

Temple of Yog Maya is at a walking distance. Ahimsa Sthal is a Jain praying spot just across the road from the Qutab. Another Jain temple is that of Dada Badi.
